lol Ya, a place to do that. Which hasn't gone so well because we have been so stinking busy... And it just keeps getting busier around here. Doesn't help that Comcast can't shut down our account from down there. Apparently we still have some of their equipment so they won't cancel it yet. Well no, we have none of yours. We have a tracking number for the only piece of equipment we had from them, the TV box, and it was delivered 2 weeks ago. This is why you get a tracking number. (We owned our own modem, didn't rent theirs).

It is going well here. Working on pre-employment stuff and unpacking. Busy busy.

gotta love the only cable company messing things up...last time they visited my place they tried to knock over my hubby's computer monitor and then proceeded to turn around and try to knock over the tv! told the guy to just leave I could break things without his help, thank you.

Ya they are not exactly the best. Though we have always had good luck with the techs. It is customer support that sucks...

An ark might not be a bad idea. Soon it might become the most feasible way to travel... And I don't think we have gotten near the amount of rain that Central IL has gotten. They must all be floating at this point.

Ya... Some places have great customer support. Sadly the big places that you have to call more often than not have crappy customer support...

The most havoc he did here was making a ton of people evacuate and plan and then have nothing major happen. Even though it has been wet, ugly weather off and on.

I was really hoping that storm would go towards California - that area needs it so bad, meanwhile we've been floating. Of course just a year ago we were in just as bad a drought.

lol....it just doesnt like some folks, some can bump whenever, others have to wait 25 (sometimes 26)....nothing we can do about it though--its the code (gee havent heard that one before have you?).

Oh hi there. I've been busy... This is crazy. I'm supposed to be less busy during the summer, not more busy! Gah!

We had lunch at my wifes grandparents house. It was fun. Now I'm at my folks, just got my haircut and am spending sometime here.

moving does make one busy...and with a new place, things to buy, things to toss, things to.....it eats up your time. next summer will be less busy for you....

just trying to dry out here...had some real good storms move thru yesterday...glad most of them were far south of us (sister said they had tornado warnings and such..we only had the flood warnings here--which is plenty enough, thank you).

enjoying the cooler, less humid weather today....before the storms hit again

I think I need to talk to my elves again...I sad CALIFORNIA not MIDWEST (or texas)...need to get them the google map ap for their phones I guess

I hope this summer becomes less busy soon. I would like some time to feel relaxed...

We had a tornado watch. The worst of the storms went south of our place and north of my parents place. So we feel fairly lucky. Just some rain and wind.

Much less humid today. Yesterday it was super humid, today, not so much. Though tomorrow is saying more storms possible. Woo...

Storms just popped up here and seemed like out of nowhere. Haha. We just got rain and a major lightning show.

Texas is always humid. Ugh. :P

) so, er....yeah, california will probably not get rain and the rest of the country is up for grabs as well

had a nice day yesterday---only in the low 70's but no rain and a slight breeze--dont care its summer, we dont need 90's to have a nice summer day!!! (and yes the midwest is always humid in the summer as well).

yes, moving is ....well, not something very enjoyable to say the least. It is necessary at times though.....at least pwnd, you arent moving across country (or to another country like I did 10 years ago--), that is really no fun at all.

We are taking it slow and with her working during the day, I get to find a few hours to sit back and relax.

We keep getting hit by storms. Think they are gone for a bit, nope, here they come, back again. Oh well.

You have some greedy elves. But maybe if you get them new phones they will make it rain in California? Maybe??

Ya that is true, and we were able to have a "slow" move since I shuttled stuff up over a couple of months. Not that the stuff got put away but it was up here!

relaxing is necessary--too much work is not good, need to take time away from it and do something else, go out for dinner, see a ball game (you are around chicago now--did you get to see the hawks?).....you still have plenty of time to find places for everything.

and yes, the ark is back on the table!
